For over 30 years, the federal Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) has befuddled employers and leave administrators. Additionally, over the years, myths have developed regarding the law and how to comply with it. From employer coverage of the law to returning an employee after leave, and everything in between, some myths have been perpetuated.
