Q: Will the credits I earn to recertify my SHRM-SCP credential also apply to other HR credentials I hold?
A: Maybe. It depends on whether the other certifying organizations recognize the same recertification activities as SHRM. You'll need to check with the other organizations to confirm what they accept.
Q: Can I get SHRM credits for taking Continuing Education (CEU) and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses? If so, what are the PDC equivalents?
A: Yes. SHRM accepts 10 PDCs for every 1 accredited CEU awarded (International Association for Continuing Education and Training guidelines: 1 CEU per 10 hours of classroom time). SHRM accepts 1 PDC for every 1 CLE credit awarded.
