​Leading jobs site Indeed recently stated that U.S.-based job listings will include salary ranges, either entered by the employer or estimated by an algorithm developed by Indeed.

Salary is one of the most important pieces of information that job seekers value when looking for a job. Indeed automatically pulls salary details from job descriptions when present, and employers can input salary details when posting a job. When salary information is not included, Indeed intends to add a salary estimate to the post, based on a variety of factors, including job title, experience qualifications, education requirements and job location. Employers can modify the estimate.
