Overview
The Losey Visiting Voice Fellowship is a flagship initiative of the Michael R. Losey Human Resource Fund, designed to bring forward leading perspectives on the future of work. Each year, the program embeds a thought leader within SHRM Foundation to provide insight, challenge assumptions, and translate emerging workforce trends into practical strategies for employers.
The Fellowship reflects SHRM Foundation’s commitment to strengthening the HR field by equipping leaders with the tools and insights needed to navigate a rapidly evolving workplace.

About the Fellow
Alex Edgar joins as the inaugural Losey Visiting Voice Fellow, working with SHRM Foundation and SHRM leaders to explore how generational shifts, technology, and evolving expectations are reshaping the workplace.
Alex is co-founder of Youth250 at Made By Us, where he has helped engage over 2.5 million people and 7,500 organizations in the nation’s 250th anniversary. He leads the Youth250 Bureau, a network of 100 paid Gen Z advisors. He also advises the Higher Education Democracy Exchange and a major national foundation on youth development strategy. Edgar is a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and recipient of the John Lewis Youth Leadership Award and Hidden Hero Award. He serves on the boards of Points of Light and Co-Generate and previously advised the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2030 Advisory Committee.
