Katie Brennan, SHRM-CP, has been a SHRM HR Knowledge Advisor since October 2015. With nearly two decades of experience in human resources, Katie has worked for both large and small employers in the public and private sectors. She began her HR career in higher education, later transitioned into the hospitality industry, and eventually moved into the nonprofit realm. She holds a bachelor's degree in human resource development from the University of Florida.
As an HR Knowledge Advisor, Katie enjoys talking to members through scenarios and sharing her general HR knowledge. For her, the work-life balance afforded by her role is a bonus.
