Mandy Woulfe, SHRM-SCP is the Vice President of Human Resources for Adelante Development Center, Inc., a diverse and innovative non-profit agency in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Founded in 1978, Adelante’s mission is to improve the lives of people with disabilities, seniors, and disadvantaged populations by providing employment, day and residential services, and a variety of community resources. Prior to this role, she spent over 20 years leading the HR departments and serving on the executive leadership teams of luxury hotels and resorts in Colorado and Hawaii.

Mandy is the 2014 recipient of the SHRM Foundation Susan R. Meisinger Fellowship for Graduate Study. She graduated from Walden University in 2017 earning a Master of Science in Human Resource Management with a concentration on integrating functional and strategic human resource management.

Her HR practitioner experience encompasses leadership roles for companies with less than one hundred employees to organizations with thousands of employees, including Hyatt Corporation and Vail Resorts, Inc. Mandy credits her career success to those experiences, her SHRM membership, and to her SHRM volunteer leadership roles. She was the Membership Advisory Council (MAC) Representative for the Pacific West Region from 2018 – 2020. She served on the SHRM Hawaii board of directors for eight years and a combined total of seven years on the Colorado State Council. Her local chapter experience includes leadership roles for SHRM Hawaii’s Maui Educational District, Western Colorado HR Association, High Country HR Association, and Boulder Area HR Association.

Mandy loves hanging out with her amazing husband and spending time with their adult son, family, and friends. She has been a Toastmaster for over ten years and has competed on the District 49 (Hawaii) speech contest stage. Among her passions are faith, health & fitness, the performing arts, and continuous professional development.
