Seychelle Hercules Padgett
Seychelle Hercules Padgett is a human resources business analyst (HRBA) at DKW Communications Inc., headquartered in Washington, D.C. Combining her expertise in both HR and business analysis, Seychelle spearheads process improvement and corporate rebranding efforts for the company, in addition to leading the employee engagement and satisfaction efforts. As an advocate for employee relations, and in the spirit of continuous improvement, Seychelle has successfully implemented a company-wide Learning Management System (LMS). Her efforts have been recognized with several awards, including Top Workplaces Cultural Excellence Awards from The Washington Post and national recognition as a Top Workplace by USA Today.
Before her current position, Seychelle held various roles, including serving as a technical writer on government contracts. She also worked in training, communications, and operations for local Chick-fil-A restaurants in the DC Metro area. Additionally, she contributed to fundraising and public relations efforts for local chapters of Girls Inc. and United Way in Georgia, generating over $7 million annually.
Seychelle is honored to be selected as a part of the inaugural cohort for the HR Tomorrow Leadership Program, as this will give her the opportunity to strengthen her personal vision to develop HR leaders who are change catalysts, employee advocates, strategic partners, and stewards of fairness, equity, and ethical practices, not only understanding policies and procedures but also inspiring and guiding their teams toward organizational success.
Seychelle is an alumna of Wesleyan College, where she earned her undergraduate degree in 2018, majoring in International Business, Business Administration, and Communication. She further advanced her education at the University of Maryland Global Campus, securing postgraduate degrees and certificates in Human Resources Management (2022), Project Management (2023), and Strategic Communications (2024), showcasing her unwavering commitment to her professional development.
