Governor Cox and SHRM Join Forces to Promote Civil Discourse and Workplace Civility

Sandy, Utah – SHRM, the trusted authority on all things work, is proud to announce its support for Governor Spencer J. Cox's "Disagree Better" campaign, aimed at fostering civil discourse and respectful dialogue in our communities.


Sandy, Utah – SHRM, the trusted authority on all things work, is proud to announce its support for Governor Spencer J. Cox's "Disagree Better" campaign, aimed at fostering civil discourse and respectful dialogue in our communities. In return, Governor Cox has pledged his support for SHRM's ongoing "1 Million Civil Conversations" initiative, highlighting the importance of workplace civility and respectful communication. The two will share their views during the Culture Builders Summit in Sandy, UT on March 28.  

As the leading voice of the HR industry, SHRM is committed to promoting a culture of civility and mutual respect in the workplace. By partnering with Governor Cox's "Disagree Better" campaign, SHRM aims to extend these principles beyond organizational boundaries and into the broader community. 

 Gov. Cox expressed his appreciation for SHRM's support, stating, "I'm grateful for SHRM's commitment to promoting civil discourse and constructive dialogue in our communities. By working together, we can create a culture where differing opinions are valued, and respectful communication is the norm." 

In return, Johnny C.
