ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Today, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) announced the acquisition of CEO Academy, a high-level intensive learning and networking experience for CEOs, focusing on key issues and trends that are top of mind for CEOs.
Together, SHRM and the CEO Academy will strengthen SHRM's mission to create Better Workplaces for a Better World. With the organizations' combined capabilities, we will be able to provide more resources and tools to business executives, which will allow them to excel in the workplace and optimize the CEO-CHRO relationship.
CEO Academy offers two-day programs delivered in close partnership with the Wharton School and McKinsey. The program, in its 22nd year attracts some of the most successful chief executives and board leaders in the country. It is one of the most comprehensive "learning and refresher" programs of its kind, attracting current chef executives, former CEO's, potential successors, company directors, Wharton faculty and industry leaders.
The two-day program focuses on strategy, innovation, growth, finance, talent, compensation, succession, governance, and other issues key to chief executives, emerging leaders, and board leaders. The next event will be in New York City on November 16-17, 2022.
