Job Summary:

The Photographic Processor will develop photographic film and produce prints and enlargements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assists customers with questions regarding pricing, special effects and finishes, and order status.
• Processes customer orders from digital files and in some circumstances film cartridges.
• Produces duplicates or enlargements of photographs using computer software or other equipment.
• Uses computer software to touch up photographs and or add special effects.
• Reviews photographs for processing quality.
• Maintains equipment, which may include adding chemicals, paper, and ink.
• May be required to operate a film processing machine; in specialty operations, may also be required to perform chemical development in a dark room atmosphere.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficient with photo editing software.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting or standing at photo processing workstation.
• Prolonged periods of using a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• May require exposure to chemicals.
