The International Labor and Employment Compliance Handbook provided by Wolters Kluwer can be found under Interactive Tools. SHRM members can use this resource to locate employment law information by country. From employment contracts to termination—this easy-to-use handbook has it covered.
SHRM's partnership with Aperian provides SHRM members with access to its GlobeSmart Guides, an online learning platform that promotes global collaboration and inclusion. Through these guides, SHRM members can access information on working in globally diverse environments with people from different cultures. In addition, members can also access global employment law information through the Employment Law Alliance's Global Employer Handbook.
SHRM members can access GlobeSmart Guides by clicking Country Guides on the Global HR page of the SHRM website, or by clicking below.
GlobeSmart Guides: Select the country of interest from the search box which leads to numerous resources on the culture and practices of the selected country.
Global Employer Handbook: From each country's Culture Guide, click on Leading People, then "See all Employment Law" to access the Global Employer Handbook for comprehensive, country-specific employment law information.
