| The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), together with the SIOP Foundation and the SHRM Foundation, are co-sponsoring the first international award to honor organizations that have outstanding evidence-based HR management practices.
The competition will select winners based on HR practices and initiatives that have been measured and determined successful through evidence-based, data-driven analysis. One or more winning organizations will be recognized publicly each year. Any for-profit, not-for-profit, or government organization located anywhere in the world may apply for this award. Name of Award | The Excel Awards for Professional Chapters and State Councils |
Description
| The recognition component of the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence (SHAPE) is the Excel Awards. Awards may be earned at four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each level builds on a prescribed set of requirements and accomplishments. Chapters and state councils must submit the required SHAPE Year-End Report no later than the due date for award consideration. Winners of the award will be notified in March and will receive award podium banners and recognition in SHRM publications and at conferences.

| The SHRM Pinnacle Award Program is designed to honor SHRM affiliates for high-level development and contribution that enhance the development of effective human resource management. Pinnacle Awards of $1,000 are awarded to state councils as well as to Small, Medium/Large, Mega/SuperMega chapters in three categories: Advancing the Profession, Serving the Profession, and Enhancing the SHRM Community.
