Beverly N. Dance, MBA, SHRM-SCP, is a human resources professional with significant HR management and independent consulting experience. She is the founder and principal of Dance Associates, Human Resources Consulting, based out of Oakland, California.
Beverly joined the SHRM faculty in 2007 and facilitates SHRM's compensation and certification preparation classes. She was the subject matter expert for SHRM's Total Rewards: Designing a Compensation System class.
Previously, Beverly was the Director of Human Resources at InnoVentry. She has a background in compensation design and administration, job analysis and evaluations, job descriptions, strategic management, mergers and acquisitions, organizational design, performance management, succession planning, executive coaching, facilitation, employee relations, work force planning, employee handbooks, union interactions, benefits, plus training development and delivery.
Beverly graduated magna cum laude from John Muir College of the University of California. She has also earned a MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
