SHRM Announces Antoni Porowski New York Times Bestselling Author and Star of Netflix's 'Queer Eye' as Featured Speaker at SHRM INCLUSION 2022

San Diego — The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) announced today that Antoni Porowski, New York Times bestselling author and star of Netflix's hit series "Queer Eye," will be the closing general session speaker on Wednesday, Oct. 26, at the SHRM INCLUSION 2022 conference, being held virtually and in person in San Diego Oct. 24-26.

Porowski will join SHRM Vice President of Event Strategy & Experience Jamie Bosley on stage in a conversation titled "Know Thyself: Using Your Uniqueness to Create Success".

"Queer Eye" has won the Emmy for Outstanding Structured Reality Program for four consecutive years. As the show's food and wine expert, Porowski brings with him a lifelong passion for food. A self-taught cook, he later honed his skills in restaurants from Montreal to New York and under mentor Ted Allen, the food and wine expert from the original "Queer Eye" that aired on Bravo in the mid-2000s.

Porowski's first cookbook, Antoni in the Kitchen, debuted at #2 on the New York Times Best Sellers List, and his follow-up, Antoni: Let's Do Dinner, was released in September 2021. Working with "Black-ish" creator Kenya Barris, Porowski is developing a feature film for Netflix titled "Girls and Boys," which is loosely based on Porowski's real-life dating experiences as a sexually fluid man.

He is an outspoken advocate for LGBTQ+ rights everywhere and serves on the board of the Equaversity Foundation, which was established to organize international fundraising to support the LGBTQ+ community in his family's native Poland. He has graced the covers of Gay Times, Out magazine, Fashion magazine and Entertainment Weekly. A finalist for People's Choice Reality TV Star of 2019 and 2020 and winner of Eater's 2018 #Brand of the Year and People's 2019 Readers' Choice Sexiest Reality Star, Porowski continues to connect with audiences the world over.
