SHRM Brings Together HR Leaders for Meetings with Labor Secretary and EEOC Chair
ALEXANDRIA, Va. — SHRM (the Society for Human Resource Management) brought together top HR professionals for meetings on December 8 with Secretary of Labor Marty Walsh and U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) Chair Charlotte A. Burrows to discuss issues impacting work, workers, and the workplace.
The meetings in Washington, D.C. included SHRM President and CEO Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., Chief of Staff and Head of Public Affairs Emily M. Dickens, Chief Human Resources Officer Jim Link, Chief Knowledge Officer Alexander Alonso, and CEO Academy Director Christopher Lopez.
Also in attendance at both meetings were SHRM Board Chair and Booz Allen Hamilton Chief People Officer Betty Thompson and the following members of the SHRM Executive Council: Mastercard Chief People Officer Michael Fraccaro, TripAdvisor Chief People Officer Beth Grous, Neiman Marcus Group Executive Vice President and Chief People and Belonging Officer Eric Severson, Trinity Health Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Ed Hodge, and Harvard Business School Senior Lecturer Diane Gherson.
