HR Virtual Round Table: Global Growth, Local Landmines
April 14, 2026 | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM
Global Growth, Local Landmines: Practical insights for US HR teams hiring, monitoring and firing employees overseas.
Hiring beyond the US unlocks growth—but it also exposes HR teams to unfamiliar legal, cultural, and operational risks. This 60‑minute practical webinar is designed for US‑based HR and People leaders navigating international expansion, compliance, and workforce change.
Through real‑world scenarios, clear checklists, and region‑specific risk flags, we’ll explore what can go wrong—and how to get it right—when managing employees overseas, particularly in the UK and Europe. From scaling and remote work models, to AI‑driven monitoring and privacy obligations, to terminations and global RIFs, this session focuses on what HR teams face during their global expansion journey.
You’ll leave with a sharper understanding of where US assumptions break down internationally, what red flags to watch for, and how to reduce risk while moving fast.
Ideal for HR, People Ops, Legal, and Compliance leaders currently supporting or planning to support global workforces.
