As more and more organizations employ workers from other countries, workplace leaders can set these employees up for success by helping them tackle common challenges like cultural barriers, self-doubt, and stereotypes. Solveiga Jaskunas, an international keynote speaker, mentor, and HR consultant, shares her path from overcoming rejection as an immigrant to empowering others through mentorship. Learn how businesses can foster inclusivity, create psychologically safe environments, and develop supportive practices to help foreign-born workers thrive while enriching workplace culture with fresh perspectives and global insights.
Solveiga Jaskunas is a seasoned HR professional, speaker, facilitator, career coach, and connector with over fifteen years of experience in nonprofit and for-profit organizations. She holds dual master’s degrees, in Industrial Psychology and Human Resources Management, as well as PHR and SHRM-CP certifications. As an immigrant to the United States, she overcame language barriers and numerous rejections before climbing the HR ladder to senior leadership roles. Her journey motivated her to mentor fellow immigrants and to start her own consultancy, which focuses on HR consulting, career coaching, training, speaking, and network referral services for organizations and individuals. She is passionate about empowering others to not just survive, but truly thrive in today's dynamic, multicultural workplaces. She loves collaborating with professionals across industries to develop transformational workshops on mentoring, cross-cultural communication, inclusive leadership, and employee advocacy. Her goal isn't just knowledge sharing—it's about creating meaningful connections that help professionals from diverse backgrounds to thrive.
