Job Summary:
The Marketing Research Consultant will provide research and strategy support to the organization to increase sales, market share and client base.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Consults with client to assess and understand goals and objectives.
- Proposes and builds a custom market research profile based on client needs.
- Identifies appropriate research tools and methods, which may include phone and online surveys, focus groups, and in-depth interviews.
- Conducts and/or oversees market research initiatives.
- Analyzes research results; builds and presents reports of findings.
- Meets with clients to deliver and analyze research findings and to provide advice and recommendations on marketing strategies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Extensive knowledge of market research principles and techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Statistics, Business, or related field required; Masters degree preferred.
- One to three years of related experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
