Job Summary:
The Retail Lending Operations Clerk will perform administrative and clerical duties to process loans from initial receipt to final entry in the loan database.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Verifies accuracy and completeness of data and documents for incoming direct loans; assessments may include verifying accuracy of financials, completion of credit authorizations, and collection of required documentation.
- Enters verified contracts into the consumer loan database system.
- Prepares and submits forms or documentation needed to make necessary corrections to incomplete or inaccurate data.
- Prepares vouchers, settlement sheets, and general ledger entries.
- Maintains complete loan portfolio records including vouchers, services, payoffs, corrections, and year-end interest reporting.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent administrative and clerical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Computer proficiency to use and interact with consumer loan database.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare documentation.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least one year of clerical experience required; bank teller or similar experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
