Deborah authored the SHRM published text, Digital HR (2018), which is an updated companion book to The e-HR Advantage (Waddill & Marquardt, 2011). Both texts emphasize the strategic approach to leveraging HR technologies to support workforce development. Digital HR ranked in the “Top Eight Books” at the SHRM Convention in Chicago in 2018. Deborah enjoys writing blogs for both SHRM and HR People & Strategy (HRPS) based on her experience as an HR technology consultant. Topics range from leadership to practical business strategies to areas for leading edge technology application.
Deborah earned her doctorate in the Executive Leadership HR Program at The George Washington University, where she also teaches leadership in the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She is a consultant on HR technologies in general and virtual, mobile learning design in particular. Deborah is pleased to contribute as an instructor for SHRM!
