Job Summary:
The Manager of Budget & Analysis, Data Center will collaborate with the Regional Director, Regional Controller, and other staff members regarding the planning and preparation of budgets and will forecast programs for the assigned data center. The Manager will also analyze and evaluate operations of, and organize and control, the assigned Data Center.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Interviews, trains, develops, and oversees a staff of motivated, qualified employees.
- Makes salary recommendations for staff under his or her direction.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees and facilitates planning, preparation, development, and distribution of budgets for the assigned data center.
- Collects and analyzes data related to budget and performance forecasting; analysis may include historical trends, periodic reports, and special projects.
- Analyzes and evaluates operating and capital budgets to identify weaknesses; makes recommendations for improvements.
- Ensures that all operating reports for the data center are timely and accurate.
- Oversees the operations of the data center to ensure efficient and effective processes and appropriate use of all equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent and persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent managerial skills.
- Self-motivated and detail oriented.
- Ability to evaluate a situation to identify weaknesses and possible solutions.
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software program.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Economics, or Computer Science with at least ten years of experience required; OR
- Masters Degree in a relevant field with at least five years of experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
