Job Summary:
The Casino Services Manager will oversee day-to-day operations of the casino, developing customer loyalty through superior customer service and peerless guest experience.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Hires new staff for various vacant positions in the casino.
- Oversees the day-to-day workflow of the casino property.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develops, promotes, and oversees casino services including customer loyalty and rewards programs and special guest accommodations.
- Drafts and implements staff schedules.
- Builds unity and morale among casino staff, promoting enthusiasm and high standards of customer service by all employees.
- Collaborates with security team to support and enforce all security protocols.
- Maintains current knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Ensures all casino practices and services are in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines, and casino policies and best practices.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superlative customer service and sales skills.
- Excellent leadership skills with proven ability to motivate, direct, and develop staff to be efficient and effective.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform cost-benefit analysis and similar decision-making skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Post-secondary education or suitable combination of continuing education and 10+ years of casino operations experience.
- At least five years of casino operations experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must be able to quickly access various departments and locations of casino property, particularly in the event of an emergency or problem.
