Job Summary:
The Corporate Citizenship Leader identifies trends in the external and internal environment (risks and opportunities), uses insights gained to formulate a comprehensive competitive strategy for the business relative to appropriate corporate citizenship challenges, and integrates corporate citizenship practices with the current business model.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Creates and implements corporate citizenship strategy, policies and procedures.

Embeds corporate citizenship practices into all operations across organizational boundaries.

Measures and reports on initiatives and activities related to corporate citizenship.

Creates impactful internal and external communications influencing and inspiring others to act and ensuring broad-based support for corporate citizenship strategy.

Represents the company in public forums to improve stakeholder relations and corporate reputation.

Works with, communicates, influences and builds consensus among other senior leadership across the company to advance corporate citizenship policies and programs.

Regularly updates governing board committee or senior steering committee on advancement of corporate citizenship goals.

Provides leadership in representing company values for all employees.

Builds strong, trusting relationships with key external stakeholders such as community groups, NGOs, policy-makers, media, etc.

Manages tension inherent in an iterative process of integrating corporate citizenship practice into existing operating model.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, Masters preferred.

At least three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.

SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
