Job Summary:
The Merchandise Coordinator I will serve as a liaison between the merchandising department and the distribution center.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Communicates with staff and departments regarding the status of merchandise shipments.
- Monitors inventory of assigned merchandise to ensure that stock is available to provide timely and efficient service.
- Prioritizes and expedites high-demand and special orders.
- Tracks movement and delivery of anticipated merchandise inventory using websites, applications, or inventory systems.
- Facilitates paperwork and recordkeeping required for the distribution center to send, receive, and process merchandise.
- Resolves issues that may affect shipment and receipt of goods.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Proficient with inventory management software, applications, and/or systems.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of experience in related field preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
