An Opportunity to Contribute to DE&I in Action

Take advantage of this opportunity share your success story of overcoming unconscious bias

A man working on a laptop with a checklist on it.

HR professional and social scientist Lorne Epstein, SHRM-SCP, is surveying the impact of bias in organizations and what professionals are doing to reduce its effects to improve diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I), belonging, and ableism. His team is identifying organizational structures and solutions to share with the HR community so professionals like you can continue to make the workplace more equitable and just.

Unconscious (implicit) bias causes harm within organizations, and Epstein knows there are solutions organizations have implemented that mitigate its impact.

Epstein will publish the impact and ideas collected from his 2023 Bias Impact Survey. His goal is to create an open-source encyclopedia of blueprints that mitigate bias. He is speaking at the SHRM Annual Conference & Expo 2023 in Las Vegas and will share the results from the survey then.

SHRM supports HR professionals who believe sharing their stories can make our world a better place to work. Please tell him what challenges your organization is facing and what, if any, solutions you may have implemented by completing the survey.
