Associate Quality Engineer




Job Summary:

The Associate Quality Engineer will provide quality assurance support to ensure that products meet quality requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Provides entry-level support to quality engineering department.
  • Ensures that assigned products meet quality requirements for the customer and the company.
  • Reviews quality trends based on collected quantitative data and interactions with quality inspectors and operations personnel.
  • Works with senior engineers to perform inspection analyses and failure analyses and tests.
  • Reviews corrective actions that have been implemented in the production process.
  • Acquires skills and experience necessary to perform quality engineer tasks without supervision.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent listening skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn production sequences and the companys quality standards.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering required.
  • Two years of related experience, preferably in quality inspection.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to traverse the production facility.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
