SHRM Award Listing by Date
The Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), together with the SIOP and SHRM Foundations, are co-sponsoring the first international award to honor organizations that have outstanding evidence-based HR management practices.
The competition will select winners based on HR practices and initiatives that have been measured and determined successful through evidence-based, data-driven analysis. One or more winning organization will be recognized publicly each year. Any for-profit, not-for-profit, or government organization located anywhere in the world may apply for this award. This $50,000 award is funded by the Society for Human Resource Management and the SHRM Foundation. This award recognizes experts who have made outstanding research contributions and who will use this award to facilitate continuing contributions to the HR field.
The recognition component of the SHRM Affiliate Program for Excellence (SHAPE) is the Excel Awards. Awards may be earned at four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Each level builds on a prescribed set of requirements and accomplishment. Chapters and state councils must submit the required SHAPE Year-End Report no later than the due date for award consideration. Winners of the award will be notified in March and will receive award podium banners and recognition in SHRM publications and at conferences.
The SHRM Pinnacle Award Program is designed to honor SHRM affiliates for high-level development and contribution that enhance the development of effective human resource management. All SHRM chapters and state councils are eligible to submit applications. Pinnacle Awards of $1,000 are awarded to State Councils as well as Small, Medium/Large, Mega/SuperMega Chapters in 3 categories: Advancing The Profession, Serving the Profession, and Enhancing the SHRM Community. In addition to the awards and monetary grants, this impressive program provides increased prestige among your peers and enhanced recognition in the human resource industry.
