- Incentive for prospective candidates to interview for the position with or without reimbursement.
- Location of the candidate relative to local qualified candidates.
Procedures
All travel expense reimbursements in connection with interviewing any applicant for an open position at [Company Name] must be approved by management. All job applicant interview candidates must comply with transportation, meal, and lodging maximums and receipt requirements as outlined in [Company Name]'s employee travel policy.
All job applicant interview expenses should be charged to account code [code].
Reimbursement for travel expenses of the spouses of finalists for the position of [title] or above may be authorized by management.
There are occasions when employees are required to interview applicants during the meal period. Reimbursement for the cost of such meals, within the maximum, is allowable. A receipt, the candidate's name and title of the open position and an explanation for holding the interview over the meal period must be provided.
