Cheronn is a seasoned human resource professional with extensive experience spanning entry-level to executive roles. She has worked in diverse environments, including large and medium-sized public and private sector organizations, not-for-profits, and start-ups. Cheronn is deeply passionate about strategic planning, organizational development, and talent development. She has successfully designed a variety of leadership development programs, including HR-focused initiatives that utilize assessments to help participants better understand themselves and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
As an ICF-trained coach, Cheronn works individually with aspiring leaders and executives seeking to advance their organizations. She has a proven track record of partnering with organizations to conduct needs assessments, implement development initiatives, and design customized training programs tailored to specific goals.
Cheronn holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Human Resources from the University of Maryland Global Campus (UMGC). She also possesses a project management certificate and certifications in several assessments, including MBTI, Everything DiSC, Change Style Indicator, Conflict Dynamics Profile, Influence Style Indicator, Emotional Intelligence, and The Leadership Challenge. These certifications equip her to help individuals better understand their leadership styles and achieve their career aspirations.
An active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Cheronn has served in various leadership roles, including President of the Montgomery County, MD SHRM Chapter and Certification Director for the Maryland SHRM State Council. Additionally, she teaches the SHRM Certification Prep course for SHRM Education Partners at Montgomery College and Morgan State University.
