The SHRM People Manager Qualification PMQ Receives Accolades at the Brandon Hall Excellence Awards

Alexandria, Va.— SHRM (the Society for Human Resource Management) recently received multiple awards at the Brandon Hall Group Excellence in Human Capital Management (HCM) Awards for its People Manager Qualification (PMQ) certificate program. The 2022 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards are given for work in Learning and Development; Talent Management; Leadership Development; Talent Acquisition; Human Resources; Sales Performance; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; and the Future of Work. The SHRM PMQ is a self-paced, virtual storytelling-based learning experience that uniquely combines interactivity, gamification, and entertainment to engage learners and build solid people management and team leadership skills.

At the Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards, the SHRM PMQ won the following 2022 awards:

• GOLD for Best Advance in Leadership Development
• GOLD for Best Learning Program that Supports and Promotes Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
• GOLD for Best Unique or Innovative Leadership Development Program
• GOLD for Best Association Professional Development Program
• GOLD for Best Development Program for Frontline Leaders
• SILVER for Best Advance in Competencies and Skill Development

Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Award entries were evaluated by a panel of veteran, independent senior industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts, and executives based upon these criteria: fit the need, design of the program, functionality, innovation, and overall measurable benefits. SHRM's PMQ swept the Gold category in eligible Leadership awards. SHRM's PMQ was also recognized by Brand Hall Group for Excellence in Learning, Best Custom Content (Gold) and Excellence in Learning, Best Unique or Innovative Learning and Development Program (Silver) in 2021.

The SHRM PMQ comprises interactive videos that allow managers to role-play workplace scenarios and understand the impact of their decisions. The complete learning experience is self-paced and takes approximately 10 and 13 hours to complete before concluding with a final behavioral assessment.
