OSHA Launches “OSHA CARES” Initiative to Strengthen Workplace Safety Nationwide
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) (OSHA) announced the launch of its new OSHA CARES initiative — an agency-wide effort designed to help businesses meet federal workplace safety requirements while building stronger, more effective safety and health programs.
OSHA CARES focuses on supporting employers with practical tools, guidance, and resources that not only ensure compliance but also promote safer work environments for employees.
“We want to provide practical, real-time insight, equipping employers with the tools needed to improve safety and health. Through open dialogue, responsive support, and trusted resources, we can help workplaces move beyond compliance toward making sure workers go home safe,” said David Keeling, Assistant Secretary of Labor for OSHA.
As part of the initiative, OSHA offers a range of resources through its website, including training materials, small business support tools, and employer-focused guidance designed to improve workplace safety outcomes.
For those looking to stay informed, OSHA also provides a series of newsletters to keep employers and workers updated on the latest safety information, regulatory updates, and best practices.
