SHRM California Holds State Advocacy Day
Nearly 100 members of the California State Council of SHRM (SHRM California) went to the state Capitol in Sacramento to meet with key lawmakers as part of Advocacy Day, making it one of SHRM California’s best-attended and most successful advocacy events. SHRM California members prioritized visiting key lawmakers who hold jurisdiction over critical workplace and labor policy issues. Participants and lawmakers discussed SHRM’s positions on artificial intelligence, the next-generation workforce, and workplace surveillance.
