SHRM Oklahoma Becomes First State Council to Join E² Initiative
Following the launch of the E² Initiative at SHRM25 in San Diego, SHRM sought out state partners to expand its reach. SHRM Oklahoma welcomed this opportunity and became the first state council partner. This partnership is particularly timely since Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt has consistently prioritized workforce readiness, economic growth, and educational outcomes during his tenure. Furthermore, Stitt recently assumed the role of chair of the National Governors Association, providing a national platform for him to spotlight his workforce priorities and, potentially, the E2 Initiative.
