Abhishek Kumar
As Chief Information Officer for AccessHope, Abhishek Kumar leads enterprise technology strategy across AI, data, engineering, cybersecurity, and operational transformation initiatives supporting oncology care delivery. He has over 19 years of experience driving technology innovation, product development, cloud transformation, and large-scale healthcare operations. His work focuses on applying artificial intelligence and data intelligence to improve how cancer expertise is delivered, scaled, and operationalized across employers, health plans, and care teams.
At AccessHope, Abhishek has helped lead the development of AI-driven platforms focused on oncology intelligence, clinical workflow optimization, operational scalability, and evidence-based decision support. His leadership has contributed to significant operational improvements across clinical operations, data platforms, and digital innovation initiatives within the organization.
Prior to AccessHope, Abhishek worked with leading hospitals, research institutions, and Fortune 500 organizations including City of Hope, Johns Hopkins, Johnson & Johnson, Persistent Systems, and Cognizant. He holds a degree in Computer Science Engineering and is currently an Executive MBA candidate at the University of Southern California (USC) Marshall School of Business, with a focus on strategy, innovation, and AI-enabled healthcare transformation.
Abhishek is certified in project management, agile methodologies, and IT service management. He was a speaker at Salesforce Dreamforce 2024 and has been recognized with Fortress Cybersecurity Awards in both leadership and data protection categories. He is a member of CHIME and the Forbes Technology Council and has been featured in national publications including CIO Magazine for his work in healthcare technology and innovation.
