AI in HR: What You Need to Know Now
August 12 2026 | 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
92% of CHROs expect AI to be further integrated into the workforce this year, yet SHRM research shows only 46% of organizations plan to use AI in HR specifically, and the number one barrier is simply not knowing where to start. Join this one hour interactive workshop to learn how to use AI safely, build agentic AI tools, see live demos, and get ahead of California's emerging AI employment laws. Bring your phone or laptop: you'll get hands-on practice using Gemini (plus a look at other platforms) so you leave with real experience, not just a slide deck. You'll walk away with practical tips you can put to work immediately, backed by real client work and firsthand experience testifying on AI's impact on the workforce.
What we'll cover:
- Using AI safely in HR work, including what to watch out for
- How to build and use agentic AI tools (AI that can take action, not just answer questions)
- Current trends and real-world use cases from HR teams already using AI
- Live demos of AI tools you can start using right away
- What's coming with California's emerging AI employment laws and the advocacy work happening on HR's behalf
