An engaging joint discussion presented by Upwardly Global, SHRM NorCal and LinkedIn designed to educate, introduce, and introduce HR professionals / employers to the benefits of hiring work-approved immigrants to their workforce. Upwardly Global, is one of the longest-serving national non-profit organizations dedicated to supporting legal professional immigrants in rebuilding their careers in the U.S. HR professionals will come away with a strong perspective of how they may expand their inclusion efforts and recruiting resources. Job seekers will learn the requirements HR professionals must follow in hiring candidates in the U.S. A view of USCIS employment steps will be shared for the employer and candidate perspective. SHRM certified professionals will be eligible for Professional Development Credits (2.0 PDCs) for their SHRM-CP® or SHRM-SCP® certification.
