Score Points to Earn Badges, Win Prizes

​Flex those fingers and get ready for the SHRM2022 Leaderboard Game. Virtual attendees can earn points and badges for a chance to win one of five great prizes.

Participants can visit vendors' online booths, watch and chat in sessions, take surveys, and network with other virtual attendees. Attendees also can participate in group or individual meetings, leave a virtual business card, download links and other vendor resources, and watch demonstrations and presentations.

Wendy Fong, SHRM's manager of virtual event innovation, encourages attendees to explore all the functionalities of the platform, which opens June 6.

"Uncover the ins and outs as you learn about business solutions and network with other attendees while earning points and badges," she said. "The virtual experience is in your hands."

The top five participants with the highest point totals on the leaderboard will each receive one of the following prizes:

  • Virtual pass for SHRM Annual Conference & Expo 2023 (valued at up to $1,675).
  • $500 Southwest Airlines gift card.
  • $250 SHRMStore promo credit.
  • $150 Target gift card.
  • $100 Instacart gift card.
During the game, participants can earn the following badges:
  • Content Master: Collect 250 or more points or more by watching sessions live or on demand, including the general and concurrent sessions.
  • Expo Explorer: Collect 200 points or more based on interactions with sponsors, exhibitors, and SHRM Resources. Visit virtual booth, click on website links and logos, watch videos, download files, and chat or schedule a meeting with a booth representative.
  • Influencer: Collect all badges on the leaderboard to earn this badge.
  • Solutions Seeker: Collect 200 or more points by clicking on the "Drop Your Business Card" button at expo booths.
  • Thought Leader: Collect 200 or more points for participating in the session chats and taking the session surveys.
  • Virtual Networker: Collect 200 points or more by clicking on social icons and scheduling a chat or video meeting
Day pass holders, members of the media, speakers, sponsors and exhibitors, staff, and student track pass holders are not eligible to participate. Individuals who have won complimentary registration to any SHRM event in the last 10 years are ineligible to win the top prize.

The game begins at midnight CT on June 6 and ends at 10:15 a.m. CT on June 15, just before the closing general session. Winners will be announced at the end of SHRM22 and then contacted to coordinate the receipt of their prizes.
