    Bill McCarthy


    Having served as a sales leader, general manager, CRO, COO, CEO, and board member, Bill brings a wealth of executive leadership experience, a track record of success, and strong missional alignment to his role as board chairman at Logos.

 Bill most recently served as a board member and interim COO with Appian, where he was recruited to help transform the business. Under his leadership, the company successfully evolved its go-to-market strategy, leadership recruitment, and approach to customer success. Bill continues to serve as an active board member with Appian. 

    Before Appian, Bill served as the CRO at Infoblox, where he led the business in a transformation from a perpetual license model to a true SaaS/subscription model.

    Bill is based out of Raleigh, NC, and, with his beloved late wife, has three adult children and two adorable grandchildren. Outside of work and family, he is actively involved in two non-profit organizations, The Timothy Initiative and Sports Mission Outreach. He also helped form Iron Academy, a Christian boys’ school in Raleigh, NC. To relax, Bill occasionally works out and loves to play golf, scuba dive, and boat with his family.
