I, the undersigned (“I”, “me”, “my” or “myself”), hereby give permission to Society for Human Resource Management and its agents, contractors, licensees, service providers and assigns (collectively, “SHRM”) to include my name, image, voice, likeness, and contributions in its podcast production (the “Podcast”).

I hereby grant SHRM a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferrable license to record, use, copy, modify (including creating derivative works), sell and distribute my name, image, voice, likeness, biographical information, statements, comments, conversation, and other results and proceeds of any recording for the Podcast (the “Recording”). I further grant SHRM the right to use any and all photographs, music, sound recordings, video clips, articles, writings, memorabilia and any other materials provided by me or my representatives (“Materials,” and together with the Recording, “My Contributions”). SHRM may use, copy, modify (including creating derivative works), sell and distribute My Contributions in any and all media and for any purpose, including but not limited to use in the Podcast and advertising, promotion, and exploitation of the Podcast or SHRM, now known or hereafter developed, including on any SHRM website(s), subdomains, and applications; SHRM-owned or third-party podcast feeds and platforms; social media platforms; and other forms of media (collectively, the “Use Rights”). I acknowledge and agree that SHRM is the sole owner of all rights, title, and interest in and to the Podcast (including all associated intellectual property rights).

I agree that the opportunity to participate in the Podcast is sufficient consideration for the rights granted to SHRM in this Release. I shall not receive, or be entitled to receive, payment for My Contributions or the Use Rights, and I shall receive no residual or any other type of payment in connection with SHRM's exercising the Use Rights or any other rights granted under this Release. 

Nothing contained herein shall be construed to obligate SHRM to exercise any of the rights granted to SHRM, or to make, sell, license, distribute or otherwise exploit the Podcast or My Contributions.  I agree that SHRM may attribute My Contributions to me.  I agree to hold SHRM harmless with respect to the rights granted to SHRM under this Release and SHRM’s use of My Contributions as permitted by this Release, and I represent that SHRM is able to use My Contributions without payment to, or violating the rights of, any third party. 

To the extent not precluded by applicable law, I hereby release and discharge SHRM from all liability arising out of or in connection with the making, producing, reproducing, processing, exhibiting, distributing, publishing, broadcasting, transmitting by any means, or otherwise using the Podcast. 

I waive any right to inspect or approve any use of My Contribution or any work product in which My Contributions may be used.  I knowingly, voluntarily, and irrevocably waive all rights of attribution and integrity and any other similar rights in or to the Recording (collectively, “Moral Rights”).  To the extent this waiver is not permitted by applicable law, I agree not to enforce such Moral Rights against SHRM or any individuals or entities acting on behalf of SHRM or permitted to receive copies of the Recording under this Release.

This Release sets forth the entire agreement between me and SHRM with respect to my participation in the Podcast and use of My Contributions, including the Use Rights. This Release may not be altered or amended except in writing signed by both parties. This Release will be governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.  In signing this Release, I acknowledge and represent that (i) I have read the Release and understand it, (ii) no statements or inducements, apart from an offer of employment or my continuing employment and the Release, have been made, (iii) I am at least 18 years old and fully competent, and (iv) I execute this Release freely, voluntarily, and on my own behalf for full, adequate, and complete consideration fully intending to be bound by same.
