Nancy Volpe, SHRM-SCP, is currently chief people officer for the Center for People Solutions; and known in the profession as The Strategic HR Coach. She has 20+ years of Executive HR practitioner experience in the manufacturing, retail, and non-profit service industries.
An active member of SHRM for 19 years, Nancy has held a variety of volunteer leadership positions, including six years on the international SHRM Board of Directors and as the Secretary of the 2007 Board of Directors. She held the positions of director for the Michigan State Council and president of a local chapter, and other leadership roles at local, state, and regional levels. Nancy holds a bachelor's degree in management from Davenport University, an M.B.A. from Western Michigan University, and completed several certificate programs from Corporate Coach University, Wharton, Harvard Business School, Cornell, and Simmons.
Nancy believes in lifelong learning and had taught for SHRM for over 10 years. She has earned the SHRM credential, SHRM-SCP, and is a great additional resource to those preparing for the exam.
