Dr. Sheri Bias is an Associate Professor of Human Resources Administration at Saint Leo University, where she has been teaching since 1997. A native of Hampton Roads, Virginia, Sheri began her HR career at NASA Langley Research Center, serving in various employee relations roles. She earned her bachelor's degree in Human Resources Administration from Saint Leo University, her MBA from The College of William and Mary, and a master's in Adult Learning from George Washington University.
Sheri started her consulting career at Price Waterhouse (now IBM Consulting), specializing in ERP implementations such as PeopleSoft and SAP. After two years of extensive travel, she transitioned to Anheuser-Busch Williamsburg Brewery in 1999 as Training Manager/Chief Learning Officer, gaining experience in unionized environments and senior management collaboration. She earned her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification the same year.
In 2003, Sheri joined Philip Morris USA as a Senior Management and Organization Development Specialist, leading global succession planning and SAP integration. Most recently, she has worked as a consultant with HR Synergy, focusing on HR infrastructure development. In 2010, she earned her PhD in Human and Organization Systems, with research interests in generational workplace dynamics, COVID-19 impacts on organizations, and corporate social responsibility.
Dr. Bias holds SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications, along with multiple SHRM specialty credentials. Her expertise includes ERP implementations, strategic staffing, employee development, and total rewards.
