AI Talent Strategy for SMBs: Closing the Skills Gap and Building the “Wisdom Worker” Workforce

    As the Director of Organizational Development at TriNet, Kristin supports small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) to accelerate through change and achieve their strategic objectives. With over 15 years of experience in human resources and organizational development, Kristin has a proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions that enhance performance, engagement, and retention of talent across diverse industries and geographies. 

    Her core competencies include strategic workforce planning, talent management, building engagement, succession planning, training and development, employee relations, benefits design, policy development, and financial management. A certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) and a collaborative and influential consultant to senior executives and stakeholders on a variety of HR and business issues. Her passion is to proactively build and drive a culture of accountability and performance, while ensuring employees are appreciated and recognized for their contributions.    

     Prior to joining TriNet HR Corporation, Kristin served as a director of Human Resources with rapid-growth B2B and B2C companies within the Financial Services, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Technology, and wholesale industries. 

    Kristin obtained her BS degree in Accounting and Economics from Louisiana Christian University.

    Cathy Manginelli is the Chief Talent Officer at TriNet USA, Inc., a position she has held since joining the company on July 24, 2017. Based in Cumming, GA, she plays a pivotal role in leading global strategies and initiatives focused on talent development and retention, fostering a culture of engagement and belonging among colleagues.

    With over 30 years of experience in various global HR roles, Cathy is passionate about helping colleagues grow and thrive within the organization. She holds a B.S. from Cornell University and an M.S. from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

    In recognition of her contributions, Cathy was named one of the Top 25 Women Chief Talent Officers of 2025 by Women We Admire, highlighting her influence in shaping workforce strategies and driving success through effective talent management.
