Job Summary:
The Manager of Office Services will supervise clerical staff and oversee the day-to-day affairs of the department.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversees the daily workflow of the department.
- Assists with hiring and training of clerical staff.
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
- Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assigns job duties and prepares work schedules for assigned clerical staff.
- Oversees the processing and distribution of internal and external mail.
- Orders and distributes business cards, forms, and other office supplies.
- Performs administrative tasks for executive and key senior staff, which may include maintaining calendars and schedules, making travel arrangements, and preparing and submitting expense reports.
- Maintains or coordinates maintenance of office equipment.
- Purchases or advises on purchase of office equipment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of experience in various office functions preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
