Susie Alegre
Dr. Susie Alegre is an international barrister and specialist in human rights law and technology. She has a PhD in international human rights law, an MA in French and Philosophy and is the author of two books "Human Rights, Robot Wrongs: Being Human in the Age of AI" (Atlantic Books 2024) and "Freedom to Think" (Atlantic Books 2022) which was a Financial Times Technology Book of the Year and was shortlisted for the Royal Society of Literature Christopher Bland Prize 2022. A lawyer with a range of judicial, regulatory and international experience, she is an Associate at Garden Court Chambers in London and is a Senior Fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI).
