SHRM Announces Powerhouse CHRO Lineup for Talent 2026
The session will be moderated by Jim Link, SHRM-SCP, CHRO of SHRM, who will guide a candid conversation focused on turning workforce disruption into competitive advantage.
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – At a time when talent strategy defines business success, SHRM – the trusted authority on all things work, workers, and the workplace – announced today three of the nation’s most influential Human Resources Executives will join together at SHRM Talent 2026, taking place April 19-22 in Dallas and virtually. Joy Rothschild, CHRO at Omni Hotels & Resorts, Mary Beth DeNooyer, CHRO at Keurig Dr Pepper, and Njsane Courtney, VP of Human Resources at American Bureau of Shipping, will share how they are reshaping the workforce in real time.
Together, these leaders oversee tens of thousands of workers, operating across diverse workforce models with little margin for error in talent decisions. The upcoming panel, The Talent Pressure Test: What HR Leaders at America's Largest Employers Are Doing Right Now, will focus directly on what senior HR leaders are doing today to stabilize workforces, rebuild trust, close skills gaps, and deliver measurable business results — all while managing burnout, AI disruption, frontline attrition, leadership readiness, and ongoing pressure from the C-suite.
“The role of the CHRO has evolved from managing HR operations to architecting the future of work. As organizations face unprecedented change, these leaders pioneer talent strategies fostering agility, innovation, and long-term growth,” said Johnny C. Taylor, Jr., SHRM-SCP, President & CEO of SHRM. “Attendees will gain real-world insight into how HR leaders are transforming their workforces and leading through complexity with confidence.”
Joy Rothschild, CHRO, Omni Hotels & Resorts: With more than 25 years of HR leadership at Omni, Rothschild has built a culture centered on associate engagement, purpose, and care. She founded Omni Circle, a charitable foundation that has distributed more than $7 million in grants to employees facing hardship. At Talent 2026, she will share how hospitality organizations can drive loyalty, culture, and retention in a high-turnover industry—and what every employer can learn from it.
Mary Beth DeNooyer, CHRO, Keurig Dr Pepper: A seasoned HR executive with more than 30 years in the food and beverage sector, DeNooyer has led workforce transformations at scale, including prior CHRO roles at Pinnacle Foods and Hillshire Brands. She will provide insight into leading through mergers, driving enterprise-wide culture alignment, and building talent pipelines that sustain growth in competitive markets.
Njsane Courtney, Vice President of Human Resources, American Bureau of Shipping: Courtney brings deep expertise in global HR strategy and organizational development across complex, international operations. She will offer practical guidance on leading distributed workforces, strengthening leadership capability worldwide, and aligning HR strategy with long-term business resilience.
The session will be moderated by Jim Link, SHRM-SCP, CHRO of SHRM, who will guide a candid conversation focused on turning workforce disruption into competitive advantage, embedding skills-first strategies across the talent lifecycle, and more.
